The signing of the young man from Southampton just simply depicted the efficacy of one Mr.Arsenal Wenger in his disbursing of funds in the previous transfer window.A young teenager though naturally modest in his physique and he was unheard of.Almost every gooner ranging from the most loyal and ardent fans critiqued the manager for the acquisition of such raw talent which was yet to be tested not only in the big and hostile premier league stage but also in the division tier.It was to the surprise of many that he fitted almost immediately in our squad especially in the left wing where we lacked some lethal man and most of our attacks would surface from the walcott-sagna blistering combination in the right wing.His versatilty in the whole of midfield proved him to be a capable young talisman.The perfomance in his manchester united home loss was also appealing to many and his eventual substitutionm did not go well with many fans who were literally furious at arsenes tactical capabilities.In this game he gave the assist to Van Persie for the only goal that we had.He also went ahead to prove how valuable he was when he played as a central attacking midfielder in the champions league game against Ac Milan where he earned us a penalty after dribbling past the sleeping duo of the Ac Milans defence which was absent on that day.I remember vividly that he almost aided us overturn the deficit was it not for RVP'S over confidence where he tried to audaciously chip the ball over the Ac Milans goalkeeper.

Young man,you also got a calling into the England squad in the Euro 2012 and i am aware that more and more chances will come calling as we prepare for the new season.
In the mean time lets hope that our defensive play in the pre season tour in Asia wont be reflected in our games at the beginning of the new season.
I expect Steve Bould to do a decent job in that field and please everybody pray for a swift return of our young maestro "English Pirlo" Jack Wilshere devoid of any setbacks and a quick resolution of RVP'S saga.
